Scott,
This email will serve as an update on the status and repair of your systems sent in.
Currently I have listed the flowing machines sent in for repair by you:
HP DV9000 with the serialization of CF6445CR3
As agreed your system is billed at $125.00 per system.
Now, with the HP DV9000 with the serialization CF6445CR3 has been repaired and is ready for return. The system required a reflow on both the Nvidia GeForce GO6150 (NF-G6150-N-A2) and the Nvidia NF-430-N-A3 chipset.
Your system still displayed issues typical of a reflow repair. Your LCD was changed from the one sent to a shop LCD on hand which displayed a repaired system.
The system was also hooked up to external video, and displayed a working system on external video.
Please keep in mind you also need to update the video drivers from Nvidia.com and the BIOS from HP if one is to be applied. Please advise your end user to purchase a cooling pad to help insure the removal of heat from the system.
If you need more help in explaining these areas to your end user, please visit http://applelogicboardrepairservice.com/tips.html
Pictures of the repair can be viewed at http://applelogicboardrepairservice.com/img
Payment has not been received for the system for the reflow service. Currently, your system requires a payment for the reflow and shipping. I am sending the system back by FedEx requesting a COD payment.
Your reflow is billed at $125.00, and shipping is billed at the FedEx rate which will be determined at shipping and taken by COD at the time of delivery.
