Kim,
This email will serve as an update on the status and repair of your systems sent in.
Currently I have listed the following machines sent in for repair by you:
HP DV6000 with the serialization of CNF6414Y1D
As agreed your motherboards are billed at $75.00 per motherboard.
Now, with the HP DV6000 with the serialization CNF6414Y1D has been repaired and is ready for return. The system required a reflow on both the Nvidia GeForce GO6150 (NF-G6150-N-A2) and the Nvidia NF-430-N-A3 chipset.
Your system still displayed issues typical of a reflow repair. Your AMD processor was changed from a TL-52 to a TL-50 which displayed a repaired system.
Please keep in mind you need to reapply thermal compound such as Artic Silver 5. You also need to update the video drivers from Nvidia.com and the BIOS from HP if one is to be applied. Please advise your end user to purchase a cooling pad to help insure the removal of heat from the system.
If you need more help in explaining these areas to your end user, please visit http://applelogicboardrepairservice.com/tips.html
Pictures of the repair can be viewed at http://applelogicboardrepairservice.com/img
Payment has been received for the system in the amount of $87.00 USD for the reflow service. Currently, your system requires a payment for the processor and shipping. I am sending the system board back by FedEx requesting a COD payment.
Currently, your payment cleared for $87.00 USD which covers the reflow at $75.00 and part of the return shipping. Return shipping is $52.00 USD and the processor is $41.00. Your COD amount will be for $81.00 USD.
The motherboard is being shipped to K.F. Johnson Ventures, 33 Macdonald St., Starbuck, Manitoba R0G 2P0.
