For the month of October we are offering motherboard alone reflows or reballing for just $50.00 a board and $75.00 if you send the entire laptop. Now, this does not include parts but if you send multiple units shipping may be on us for returning your systems to you.

This will include DC jack services also along with the BGA reflow and reball services.

As a laptop depot repair service we offer a number of services including BIOS reprogramming, chipset reflowing, chipset reballing, and electronic diagnostics, but last week I had a client bring me an iPhone saying the wireless service no longer worked on it to download an update. Now the phone worked brilliantly and still had all the features, but the phone did get relatively hot while using it. In my mind, I thought “Hmmmmmm, could this be a chipset issue that could be fixed by reflowing the logic board on our IR system?” The answer is Yes, and now we offer that service to our customers.

If you have an iPhone, iPod, or iPad that no longer gets wireless a good chance is that your system will need to be reflowed. As always we are still reflowing Wii and PSP systems to repair the wireless errors they may have due to bad chipsets.

As a service and to improve our customer level support we have processed and built a new website.

Our new website, tickets.doubleclickittofixit.com, will handle all our customer interactions from new work orders, updated work orders, long term projects, development, and remote user support.

Our ticket system is fully integrated with use from your iPhone, iPad, Andriod Phone, BlackBerry Playbook, BlackBerry Phone, or other mobile device also including your laptop, netbook, or desktop.

New Day, New Shop, New Location

After a much anticipated wait we have moved into a new shop. We are up and running at full speed, and have replaced a number of our systems and machines to new updated computer controlled Dark-IR systems along with Hakko soldering equipment and Fluke testing equipment which was salvaged from the damaged store.

We are accepting drop offs by appointment for the first few weeks, but accept shipments in at any time.

Posted below are the pictures of our new shop and work area plus Ginger, our office secretary, door greeter, and guard dog.

Currently our facility has been deemed structurally unsound.  This means we are not able to retrieve any property from that facility without the building inspector granting us permission to enter.  FEMA has currently declared our offices  damaged beyond repair and we are working with them to help expedite claims for our shop also.  Our lawyers are in negotiations with our local township to fulfill request to obtain personal property and get our insurance claims processed in a uniform fashion.

For us to file insurance claims, we need our clients whom have systems in the shop to resubmit paperwork electronically to james@doubleclickittofixit.com so we can process all claims.  We currently have cellphone access, but internet access has not been restored.  We currently are checking our emails off site and out of the North Georgia area once a day.

For our future and other clients, we are in negotiations to get a new office located in our city.  This negotiation has not been complete but should be complete in the next week or two.

 

Our plan is to rebuild and we are in the process of just that.
