This email will serve as an update on the status and repair of your systems sent in.

Currently I have listed the following machines sent in for repair by you:

HP DV2500 with the serialization of 2CE73607DT

As agreed your system is billed at $125.00 per system.

Now, with the HP DV2500 with the serialization 2CE73607DT has been reflowed. The system reflowed on both the Nvidia GeForce MP-2-N-A-2 chipset.

Your system was then tested afterwards displaying the same issue as when the system was reflowed once before. After the second reflow, your system still displayed this issue.

Your system was then tested on an external display, and displayed the same issue as when previously sent.

Removing the CPU then tested your system and replacing it with one I had in stock. Currently, your system displayed the pictures uploaded. Your system became fully functional.

Currently, you will require a CPU to have your system completely repaired. This can be purchased by you from me, and dependent on the speed, your price will vary or you can have the system sent back non-functional allowing you to purchase a CPU and installing it yourself..

Please keep in mind you need to reapply thermal compound such as Artic Silver 5 if you purchase your own CPU. You also need to update the video drivers from Nvidia.com and the BIOS from HP if one is to be applied. Please advise your end user to purchase a cooling pad to help insure the removal of heat from the system.
