Robert Mannarino of Precision Division – Advanced Computer Repair in Clearwater, Florida

Robert Mannarino of Precision Division - Advanced Computer Repair in Clearwater, Florida

Robert Mannarino of Precision Division – Advanced Computer Repair in Clearwater, Florida

For anyone following the articles I have written concerning my Robert Mannarino, I use that term very loosely – competitor, one might see a pattern emerging concerning how he critiques a situation.

So today I received an email from a client of mine detailing how they received a link to an article about me posted by an anonymous user, I think in my mind the public can see a pattern here, speaking and critiquing my business and me personally. In all fairness because I am a straightforward and fair guy I will post the article for everyone to see since he wants to get his word out.

Now I started reading this article and my mouth started to water with sheer excitement. Ah, the words I read danced in my eyes like spinning ballerinas.

James Howell of Doubleclickittofixit is a criminal, a thief and a genuine piece of garbage, and I am going to tell you why.

Then my mind shifted gears because I receive a lot of emails from people about Precision Division, Robert Mannarino, ibuiltonline, precisiondivisionfla, geeksarenotcool, and other usernames used by him online. So in all fairness, I want to share some of those emails here.

Two days ago, I received an email from a person asking me this:

Comments
Do you know the name of the idiot tht runs Precision Division out of Mount Carmel, PA? Here’s my complaint:I sent this guy 5 laptops to be fixed. He sent back 4 which took almost 2 months to get back. The 4th (an HP dv6) has been “misplaced”. The one HP dv9720us works fine, the HP dv7 which he claims to have fixed had missing pieces that make it unable to work at all. The other 3 three he did not charge for so I’m not too worried about them. The 9720us also had to be reworked by me because the problem with his aluminum and electrical tape fix didn’t seem to held up too well. It’s much better now that I’ve redone it in a more professional style. Plus he does not answer email or phone if he thinks you have a problem with this services. Completely amateur and a waste of time and money.

Just as few moments after posting this article the client then writes me to say that Robert Mannarino reviewed him on Ripoffreports.com posting this:

I read this email before the post then I remembered back to Robert Mannarino post concerning me.

James used inferior equipment. He is unskilled. He is unintelligent. He can’t actually fix anything. He just heats motherboards and crosses his fingers. He has no working knowledge of digital electronics. He has had no formal training in motherboard repair. Do yourself a favor – steer clear of Doubleclickittofixit.com

Well, let us say here for the record. I use what I can to get the job complete. If that happens to be a Dremel running at 35,000 RPMs to separate a wireless card from the DV9000 previously serviced by Precision Division and Robert Mannarino then my inferior equipment did just that, separated it, replaced it, and fixed it.

Then I think in this whole time of tolerating Robert Mannarino and his Precision Division Advanced Computer Repair this email I received yesterday has to be tantamount to an early Christmas present that was about Robert Mannarino.

Robert Mannarino is a homophobic crook! He did a very dishonest repair, telling us he replaced a cap-only to find out after the computer returned to us with the same problem less than a week later, we took it apart ourselves, to find the “new cap” was a penny and tin foil!!! In the mean time, we had already given him a second computer to repair and $100. This has now been 10 months ago!! At first he was responding to emails by saying he was very busy and to keep contacting him, but now, nothing. After further review online, I see his true character shows on his public Facebook wall comments. I’ll let you read for yourself, but he is not accepting of the Gay and lesbian community…….. furthermore I see in public circuit court records he’s been evicted out of his most recent Business address at Hastings Court in Palm Harbor, FL. And come to think of it, since we gave him the first laptop for repair, he had moved a to 3 different locations. The guy is a scam artist, no questions asked! SCUM BAG!!!! Don’t listen to ANY positive reviews on him, they’re inaccurate!

All jokes aside I felt a flutter in my chest when I read this. Not the flutter when you feel like you may fall on your face, but more the flutter when you find your true love and go in for a kiss. I started to get the sweats and was excited and genuinely wanted to know more. I mean do we not all want to know more? Someone can just post anything, but that does not make it true, even if it is about Robert Mannarino. Truth comes through evidence and discernment correct? Well, just so I do not suspense you to death, the email is correct. Everything is true in it. Actually, not only has Robert Mannarino been evicted for not paying his bills and lost everything in his shop which includes, for the readers, his stuff and your laptops, TVs, and game systems, Robert Mannarino also filed bankruptcy while trying to use a federal law to save all of himself. Then I remembered something very telling about Robert Mannarino article concerning me.

He has absolutely no ethics whatsoever, and you will see why later. Keep reading this is only the beginning.

Well, being college educated, holding a number of fairly decent jobs, and having to deal with a number of personal issues in life just like everyone else I remember my sociology professor from Dalton State College whom informed us in lecture hall one day that:

We do not see things as they are, but moreover how we are.

I have to say I think in the case of Robert Mannarino this seems, in my opinion, to be very true. So let us take a peak at what we see about Robert Mannarino.

Interesting enough, as I read this I see certain parts that interest me, but the one I see plain as day is this – He has absolutely no ethics whatsoever The last time I was evicted the eviction was processed and delivered by Mother Nature by way of a tornado unlike Robert Mannarino. Now, I know what one might say if they are Robert Mannarino

James gave him some sob story about a tornado (which is his excuse for everything)

And then yet another case from a company Robert Mannarino did not pay his bills to at all, like a year plus long when Robert Mannarino was running his online business.

But let us for one moment ponder about ethics and morality for Robert Mannarino. Ethically do we pay our bills because it is right and just, but morally how do we act to our fellow people, Robert Mannarino? Do we follow the idea that morally we should respect others as people, Robert Mannarino? Well, lets see what Robert Mannarino has to say regarding that question:

Rob Mannarino commented on FOX News & Commentary: Todd Starnes.

This is absolutely unacceptable. Homosexuals cannot continue to terrorize those who don’t approve into silence. Steven Goldstein is trying to bully her into quitting. Let me tell you something. I am not some anonymous coward. I have an opinion, and I’m entitled to it. Last I checked, in America – freedom of speech is a right, not a slogan. I oppose homosexuality. I happen to consider it to be a cult a perversion. This is just the latest in a string of nauseating articles. Two lesbians in California are now drugging their 11 year old child to delay the onset of puberty – so that he can turn into a “she” if he wants to. If that isn’t child abuse, I don’t know what is. But the police won’t arrest them, because that would be “intolerant. Are you kidding me? So homosexuals are above the law? Homosexuals are allowed to abuse children like that – and we’re not allowed to say anything? Screw them! Society has about had it with the gay agenda – and it’s starting to show. It’s not enough for them to be gay anymore. They want to silence objectors, drug children, and re-write history – all while hiding behind some, ironically – very stereotypical rhetoric. And it’s sickening how the gay community attempts to exploit the tragic phenomenon of teen suicides to pursue their agenda. Do the research – that lesbian couple who is drugging that defenseless 11 year old said that if they didn’t do it, then he might kill himself. What is wrong with society? Are you all that gullible? Children commit suicide because they weren’t taught from when they were babies how to overcome obstacles in life. So instead of overcoming their obstacles, they succumb to them – via suicide. Gays also target children going through the turmoil of puberty: “Hey kids! Going through puberty? Having trouble focusing? Don’t fit in? You may be gay”! Gays are attempting to exploit children during a fuzzy time in their lives, when hormones are pumping and their bodies are developing. No one thinks clearly during puberty! That doesn’t make it ok for homosexuals to indoctrinate children during puberty. America: Grow a pair and stand up for what’s right. Too many cowards in public office who are afraid to stand up to low lives like Steven Goldstein. Opposition is NOT synonymous with “hatred”. Of course, this well thought out and articulate statement will likely be followed by a string of ignorant, hateful comments by homosexuals and their supporters. But let me tell you – you don’t scare me. I’m entitled to my opinion, this is it, if you don’t like it, go to Hell. To the rest of you, have a nice night.

Well, short and sweet I think my responder was right about Robert Mannarino. It appears that our opinionated Mr. Robert Mannarino of Precision Division Advanced Computer Repair said all that Robert Mannarino needs to say on the subject. But Robert Mannarino and I do share one common idea, Robert Mannarino idea on opinions as a generalized statement and my opinion of Robert Mannarino as a generalized statement:

I’m entitled to my opinion, this is it, if you don’t like it, go to Hell.

Well, Mr. Robert Mannarino no one can say it better than you so I give you all the glory when I use your quote above.

Oh, and by the way, the picture up top is of him from his Facebook. Now, in my opinion, I cannot tell if that is a guy’s foot or a chicks foot, but no need to worry about that now because I have a letter I received from a client whom BCC me on an email to Robert Mannarino of Precision Division reviewing his paperwork and I feel it seriously sums the entire feelings of all the emails I receive into one concise piece of work. So this is not my own but I will share it:

Mr. Robert Mannarino,

A couple of months ago my shop received an email solicitation from your business, telling us of your ability to repair motherboards for laptops at the component level. As I am considered to be the laptop specialist in my shop, the email was forwarded to me to peruse. Due to various reasons I was delayed on checking into the email but as we have, indeed, seen quite a few laptops that have the problems mentioned on your site <such as the DV6000 and 9000 series by HP>, it was worth looking into later. With many of these laptops we have been unable to offer a better solution than to send in the machine to HP for motherboard replacement, since they will warranty the repair in many cases, and we cannot. Our has generally been to replace the motherboard and doing so has become prohibitively expensive without access to piles of spares.

Not being one to simply accept a miraculous cure, which many such solicitations promise, I resolved to look into your company and the claims made of your abilities to fix what to us heretofore had been impossible to repair <lacking the proper equipment to perform such repairs>. I was at first hopeful upon viewing your site, and the multiple things presented there. The site itself seemed fairly-well put together and informative, and indicated you knew of the specific problems that plague certain models of laptops. I then opened another portal and searched for reviews of your business and commentary on the repairs performed there. It took a bit of searching but I finally found several comments and reviews. As I went through them, I became a little wary. The reviews I did find were not good.

Having been in the computer business for 10 years, I am well aware that there are times when the business may receive criticism that is unwarranted and unfounded. Sometimes customers expect miracles to be performed, the dead raised, and Rainbow Bright Ponies for all. Sometimes even the best efforts dont fix the issue, or unexpected problems are encountered. Most of the time, however, things work out well, and if you do a good job, or screw things up but make the customer whole, everyone gets a handshake and nothing gets said. At worst, the customer tells his friends there was an issue, but it was handled. Serious complaints and bad reviews normally only make it out into the public realm when someone has Really screwed the pooch, whether it be the Business, or the Customer, who is at fault. Most complaints, however, can be racked up to misunderstandings. So I took the complaints with a grain of salt, giving your business the benefit of the doubt.

That was until I ran across a business called Doubleclickittofixit. And read through some of the information he had posted, and responses/emails from your business.

After reading what was posted there, I was a bit alarmed. I researched what had been posted on that website and found that, indeed, it appeared to be true. An incredible example was the Service Contract your customers are required to sign before you will repair anything. I could write pages of commentary on this alone, but I will confine myself to just this: I have never had the opportunity before to read any document which so thoroughly grinds the 1ST Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America into paste. Being bound and gagged would be a fair comparison.

I found myself to be thoroughly appalled by such a contract. How anyone would let themselves be stripped of all rights to say anything negative, especially if it was legitimate, with even the slightest hint of disagreement being sufficient to warrant being taken to court, is beyond me.

I continued reading about the purported documentation attributed to your company, mainly out of fascination; kind of like when you cant look away from a train wreck in progress. Three more examples of incredibly distasteful commentary leaped out at me: describing the person who owns doubleclickittofixit as looks like one of those slow kids behind the counter at McDonalds, a reply on a forum page calling him a lying lowlife, and last, but not least, the commentary posted concerning a negative review of your company by one of your customers. In that rebuttal you posted, publicly, that he had serious psychological problems and was of poor character and dishonest.

That one really did it. I had customers in my shop that we, as techs, felt could be replaced with a radish and no one would notice. But we NEVER publicly derided them. Our customers are our lifeline; without them we would not have a business. We may discuss privately the completely moronic idiocy some of our customers have presented, but NEVER has our company publicly denounced and insulted anyone that came to our shop, and most certainly we would never identify them by name. Complaints we have received were acted upon immediately and courteously; we never dug down for base insults or attempted to slander the person across the counter. That is the height of unprofessionalism.

I spent several hours looking through your website, other pages of reviews, and following links, just so I could honestly say that I gave your company a fair chance. Then I called up James. His number is clearly posted. Im sure you know who he is, as you posted a good amount of text knocking him down. After a very pleasant conversation with him, something which cannot be done with Precision Division, <as expressly stated on your own webpage, email only! Another reason to not do business with you> I hung up the phone with a good impression of him, and an even lower impression of your company. James offered to show me his abilities, and agreed to fix multiple machines in our shop that would require new motherboards to bring them back to life, at a special cost of only 60$ per repair. I am preparing 4 machines for shipping at this time, and have another 9 that may need his attention. They will be sent to Doubleclickittofixit.

The major thrust of this letter I hope you have discerned. If not, Ill give you some ideas: There is a ton of information in the public realm which indicates your company is very unprofessional; it insults its customers; attempts to squelch legitimate complaint by threat of heavy-handed legal action; is abusive and insulting towards people who disagree with it; is slanderous itself; and appears scared of its own shadow, as exemplified by its over-reliance on threats of legal action and prosecution of anyone and everyone for any reason it deems actionable..

You might want to put some effort into making your company a bit friendlier and less aggressive. My Boss took one look at a printed copy of your service contract and made a comment about YOUR mental state that I wont repeat. He then instructed me to delete whatever we got from you. *I* felt, however, that it might be worth the time to let you know how you lost a good source of business. Maybe it will change your attitude towards your potential and present customers for the better. By the way, you might want to note that Microsoft was started in Bill Gates garage in reference to the comment you made about James place of business.

Cheers, mate.

Here are a few of the reviews that have been taken by my office before Precision Division has them removed and deleted offline.

Most are filtered reviews given by Yelp users. The theme here is that I receive maybe 10 emails a week stating the same statements from clients asking for aid, wanting to share their experiences, or just need information before they ship their equipment to Precision Division.

Below are the reviews as listed:

RE: PRECISION DIVISION ROBERT MANNARINO LAPTOP COMPUTER REPAIRS FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD SCAMMER SCAMMER SCAMMER

I had a HP laptop dv9000 that needed an NVIDIA Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) repair. I perfromed exhaustive internet seraches for a company that could handle this repair without ding the bogus and novice copper shim installation type of repairs. In March 2011, I found an alleged top of the line laptop repair company that professed expertise in repairing the faulty NVIDIA GPU problem and who clained to be alledgedly familiar with this specific problem. This company, Precision Division company name came up on Ebay with a decent explanation of the problem and warnings on what not to do yourself at home and through novice repair shops. This all sounded credible at first read. This company is owned and operated by a one Precision Division. Precision Division ran his office at that time out of a town in Florida.

First, I should have known this Precision Division and Precision Division was a pure scammer when he does not provide you a telephone number for his business. This guy just provides you an email address, but he only uses the email to slander you and throw diatribes at you. The guy should be tarred and feathered in the public square, and believe me, I would be the first in line to be the one pouring the tar on this A-hole, or I will fight to be the first in line to do the honor.

Also, I should have known this guy and company was a scam artist when he made you fill out an unusually lengthy and ridiculous service contract that provides absolutely NO protections for you, the consumer. Additionally, they only charged $1.00 through Ebay to buy his services, but then he charged around $250.00 outside of Ebay and outside of PayPal through a credit card transaction through his company Precision Division. THis kept him from incurring the wrath of Ebay and PayPal. In hindsight, this is clever and attempts to keep this FRAUDULENT COMPANY and SCAM ARTIST Precision Division out of the corporate fraudulent investigations loop.

Precision Division makes you download a 10-12 page contract that supposedly absolves him from any litigation if you, the honest customer, are not satisfied with his performance. Then Precision Division makes you prepay for the entire service. Trust me, you will never be satisfied.

So I signed the contract in March 2011 and I requested a complete repair of the GPU and to install a fan speed switch that would allow me to slow down the ultrafast ridiculously noisy fan he places into the laptop.

I prepaid for the services I requested, I prepaid for the shipping of the laptop to Precision Division, and Precision Division performed a repair, but he did not install a fan switch that allowed me to reduce the maximum speed. The laptop was returned to me in allegedly full repaired condition, but Precision Division took my money to perform a full repair with a fan speed switch, but did not install the fan speed switch. The laptop booted up properly, but the fan was so loud in decibels that it was obnoxious to run. So I contacted Precision Division by email and told him I was not happy he failed to install the fan speed switch. He told me to pay for shipping AGAIN and send it back to him.

I shipped it back to him in April 2011. I have sent him over 100 emails, and he makes 1000 of excuses and NEVER shipped back my laptop. During all this time, he got evicted from his home and office in Florida and made random and occasional emails in response to my inquiries as to when he would finish the repairs.

In January 2012, I requested him to ship my laptop back to me, as I was sick of his excuses. He loves to call you derogatory names, cussed me out nearly every time I emailed him, and was the worst in customer service that I have ever seen. He told me his new address for he and his company was now in Pennsylvania. He said he would ship my computer back to me only if I emailed to him a scanned copy of a pre-paid shipping label. So I hoped this time he was honest enough to ship it back to me and I went to UPS and paid for a shipping label with the accurate weight Precision Division requested. I emailed the shipping label to this BOZO. He never shippped me back my laptop. During this time he again got evicted from his home and office. So he disappeared again.I did not hear from him for about 2 months and when I did get a email response, he continued the excuses.

In the week of March 20th, 2012, I received some email responses from Precision Division, and he know claimed he was forcibly removed (evicted) from his home/office space again, this time from Conway, SC by a County Sheriff. He claims he needed to leave in the middle of the night and left laptops behind. He spat out another diatribe at his ex-landlord and at me, telling me he does not have my laptop and I can get it from the ex-landlord. Then he cut me off of his email inbox. ALL HE DOES IS LIE ABOUT EVERYTHING.

Now I have been scammed. If anyone out there knows where this guy is located, bust him up for me please then tell me where to find him. IWOULD JUST DO IT MYSELF IN SELF DEFENSE. I CANâ€ââ€Â¢T WAIT.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH Precision Division AND Precision Division. THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND WILL SEAL YOUR MONEY AND COMPUTERS.

Precision Division owner of Precision Division Advanced Computer:

He can talk about any who says any thing about him as being an incompetent dishonest lowlife.. well let me tell u a little about Precision Division and I hope to God people listen because if you send your computer to him you may never get it back and if you do it may take 2 years and look like mine.No hard drive no covers on the back the screen held with tape and many other things wrong..
The first dealings I had with this self proclaimed computer expert was in Nov of 2009, I got it back in a week, working,, YES..how long 1 week.. the invoice said he repaired bridged solder joints Nvidia GPU. for $213.99 I took it back the same problem and he said he would get right on it .Well he charged me again said it was a different problem,
Well I cant even count the number of times I call him ( this was before he switched to voice mail, and his box was always full). and stopped buy the shop (before he moved with out telling any of his costumers ) and ask for my computer ( it still wasn’t fixed)after 6 months. All I wanted was to just get my computer, He always had a reason for not returning it. So dumb me I always walked out with out it..
I return to Idaho ever March and went with out it, he said he would Fex X it to as soon as it was done.. My daughter works close by so I ask her to go pick it up for me fixed or not 3 months later, he still refused to give it back said he needed to replace the mother board. never told me..and even though I told him to give it to her,,,When she went back a couple months later he was gone shop was closed. the man next door said he had closed up shop didnt where he went,,
I return T Fl. every Oct. at this point the only way to get hold of him was by e mail. After I would say at least 100 email exchanges and name calling on his part and insults and telling me he had told me on many accounts I need to buy a new mother board, that seems to be his fix for every thing. well I didn’t have the spac. to order one. when he finely did give them to me I had a new board in my hands in 4 days, Well he wanted me to drive to Palm Harbor and meet him in some industrial parking lot to give it to him,,,,,No way.
After calling a lawyer here and sent him an email telling him he had 10 days to return it.. still nothing..At this point there was no way i thought he still had it..
Back to Idaho in April without again.
Well in June of 2011 I finely got it back , and what a joke that was. I took the computer right down to a computer shop and had him doc. the condition i recived it..will send a copy if u like
He still advertising his business as being on 49th Street in Clearwater,Fl. He has not been there for at least 2 years..Drive by and see for your self…
Stay away from this guy, sure he advertises he charges low to do the work,,, I could go on an on about this guy, but there is just to much history to go into here if any one wants proof contact me I will be happy to share..
RUN AS FAST AND AS FAR AS U CAN FROM THIS Precision Division….
Just remember you get what you pay for…

he tells every one that if they say anything bad about him he will sue,, Well I say bring it on Precision Division you will have your day in court soon enough

DO NOT SEND YOUR COMPUTER TO THIS PERSON – Paying customers won’t post anything negative because he makes anyone sending a computer to him sign a ridiculous contract threatening legal action if they post anything negative. The truth is, if this guy did his job he wouldn’t NEED to threaten his prospective customers with litigation – HORRIBLE reviews on BBB, and my boyfriend got scammed.

This disorganized chump WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN and then do everything he can to keep the truth about him off the web so he can continue bilking victims.

I used this service over fifteen months ago. I purchased a laptop repair from Ebay. I shipped him my laptop. He repaired it and returned it. It quit working less than sixty days later. I sent it back to him under warranty. It was recommended to me that I purchase a higher-cost solution which I did. I have emailed him hundreds of times now. He does not have my laptop any longer. He either lost it, it was stolen, or he sold it. He has said many times that he would replace it but so far, nothing. I feel like I was completely swindled.

I’m not sure what to make of this business. I think it’s just one guy, Precision Division, who appears to know a lot about laptop repair, but he has a very different opinion than I about how repair business should be conducted.

Before sending him a laptop and a monitor, I had done a lot of research and knew the issues that both had. The monitor needed to have a BGA chip resoldered, and the laptop needed an nvidia chip resoldered. I followed all the rules stated in the contract when sending him my items.

We kept in contact over the first month and he informed me that the BGA chip couldn’t be repaired, so I ordered the the replacement add-on circuit board on ebay and had it shipped to him. At that point I assumed he was near completion because all he had to do was replace the add-on board and put it back together. After another month, I asked again and he said it was “almost done”. For the next two months I periodically asked if it was ready every week or so. The response was always “almost done”, “one last thing”, “i’ll do it tonight”, etc…

Finally, I started to get frustrated and told him that it had been almost five months and he should just send the items back to me so I can take them to a normal repair shop. Another two weeks went buy and nothing happened. At this point I had over twenty emails with the “almost done” line, and I was getting desperate. I told him that if he didn’t send the monitor and laptop to me in two weeks, working or not, I would call the police and report them stolen. I made it clear that I would still pay the repair fee if they were returned working. The response was that the contract states “90 days or more”. So that means he can keep it for 10 years? 20 years? Half a year to replace a circuit board is not operating and in good faith considering that most repair shops would have been finished in less than a month.

Fortunately, that got his attention and he sent my items back. The didn’t get repaired and I didn’t pay for repair fees. However, it was five months later and I had spent over $300 on shipping the monitor to Florida and back.

I will give Precision Division credit in that with only a couple of exceptions, I have received responses to most of the 35+ emails that I sent. He doesn’t always address every question you ask, but at least a response is better than being ignored.

I don’t think he’s purposely trying to scam people. I don’t know if he really is so swamped that repairs are backed up over six months, or if he just likes playing WOW and has a procrastination issue. Whatever the case, be very careful if you decide to send him something for repair. Make sure you don’t need it fixed soon, and document everything.

Personally, I will never sign a contract again that says “N days or more”. With a contract like that, someone could fix your stuff and then use it for 5 years until it’s out of date and send it back – they’d be getting paid to use your stuff!

I gave my notebook to Precision Division for repairs to the motherboard. I expected him to have the nbk for at the most a month. He ended up having the nbk the first time, for 5 months and basically ignored every communication I sent to him regarding completion. I finally got the nbk back, but it still did not work. I gave it back to Precision Division, and asked that he fix under warranty and much quicker than before. Once again, he chose to take his time fixing it and I waited another 4 months. In my communication with him, he told me he works from home and completes his work at his own pace regardless of customer satisfaction. In fact, here is a quote from our communication after I told him I would seek legal action to get my nbk back: “I do not respond to ultimatums, in fact, since you decided to make a threat, I will go out of my way to not have it done on Sunday. I am under no legal obligation to have a phone. I have email. I am under no legal obligation to fix the laptop in any specific period of time. I have several jobs to handle at one time, and when I get to them I get to them. When it’s done it’s done – but I don’t rush for anyone.” This is after he had my nbk for 9 months and then he ended up still charging me for the motherboard work that was to be under warranty. It was only till I told him I would pursue legal actions to get my nbk back, that he finally completed service. Precision Division did not care about me as a customer and I know I’m not the only one. Precision Division’s repair and customer service habits are extremely unprofessional and not worthy of conducting business for anyone.

First laptop I sent had a power problem, he emailed me back saying the screen must have got cracked in the shipping, so I had to file an insurance claim with the post office, which turned out painless. He sent the laptop back to me and said it was fixed, I got it and it was still doing the same thing. I sent it back to him and he told me it couldn’t be repair and he would just give me a credit for another free repair. So I sent him another one, he told me that the motherboard was unfixable. To this day I still have not received either of the two laptops back and it has been months. I have emailed him countless times and he replies that he is very busy and will get to it soon, If I ever go to Clearwater, Fl I’m going to stop in and bitch slap this mofo and get my stuff back.

DO NOT USE THEM!!!! I found him on another “for sale” site selling a diagnostic test on a laptop for $1.00. I read the reviews and went ahead and mailed him my computer. Little did I know that his previous ads threatened a voided warranty if negative feedback was left on the “for-sale” site! No wonder everyone left great feedback!

After the initial diagnosis, he told me that his “usual” fix didn’t work & I needed a new motherboard. Three separate times I told him I did not want to replace the motherboard, and each time his response was to ask me again and increase the total repair price – then he just fixed the computer without my consent.

To this day, over six months later, he still refuses to release my computer and now says it belongs to him because I didn’t pay him to replace my motherboard. I never paid him because he repaired it without my permission. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

A review of Precision Division “fixed” laptops sent to Doubleclickittofixit for repair by our skilled staff.

This is a unit that I have been waiting over one year to receive that was sent to me by a user in Georgia whom had his laptop “repaired” by Robert Mannarino of PrecisionDivision.com. As you will see in the video, the true repair is done by Doubleclickittofixit.com after removing his shims, cleaning his poor, cheap thermal compound, and reversing his high fan “thermoelectric” modification which had this system running for only a few weeks. These “repairs” by Robert Mannarino in my review of Precision Division did not “fix” the system and had it not been for a skilled technician this repair would have cost the customer much more than a laptop, but a customer and friend.

This is a unit I received last this week with a call from a user whom had his laptop “repaired” by Robert Mannarino of PrecisionDivision.com. As you will see in the video, the true repair is done by Doubleclickittofixit.com after removing his shims, cleaning his poor, cheap thermal compound, and reversing his “thermoelectric” modification which had this system running for only a few days. Also in this video you will see how Precision Division goes above and beyond to keep his warranty from being given by stripping screws and damaging key parts on the laptop so one cannot fix it themselves. This system was repaired in late September of 2011 only to be shipped to our offices for true repair in October of 2011 after Robert Mannarino refused to honor his warranty per his contract. These “repairs” by Robert Mannarino in my review of Precision Division did not “fix” the system and had it not been for a skilled technician this repair would have cost the customer much more than a laptop.

A Better Business Bureau letter sent to us from Robert Mannarino of Precision Division reviewing our company.

I would like to begin this blog unlike many of the others I have written.

April the 27th did much to change my business. I heard the sirens go off and watched as the emergency trucks moved their vehicles from the city. I drove out of the city to watch cars being blown off the roadway behind me as I left the city and I turned back to return back to the city to help people. I climbed over the trees and waded through the water to find my way to those needing help in Ringgold.

After the storm and the destruction, I received a letter a few weeks later. Actually, seven weeks later from the Greater Chattanooga Better Business Bureau stating I had a customer complaint.

My customer was not a customer at all. The so-called customer I had a complaint from happened to be Robert Mannarino. If Robert Mannarino does not mean much, then the other names he goes by are Precision Division, PrecisionDivision.com, Precision Division – Advanced Computer Repair, ibuiltonline, and a few other names. Robert Mannarino and Precision Division happen to be no more than a competitor of mine based in a before unknown Florida area, well unknown until Robert Mannarino was nice enough to send me his 3905 Hastings Court, Unit 102, Palm Harbor, Florida address with his Greater Chattanooga Better Business Bureau complaint.

Now, I can say I did not live through the possibility of being killed in a natural disaster whether my death be created in part by being electrocuted by a power line, crushed by an old growth Oak tree, drowned in a drainage ditch, being smashed by a falling wall of a building, or being blown away by a tornado just to get a letter from Robert Mannarino and Precision Division that is complete and utter ignorance.

Robert Mannarino’s letter listed in his complaint section never stated he or Precision Division were ever a customer of mine. With that being stated and as a side note, the Greater Chattanooga Better Business Bureau and all local BBB.org offices are said to review and verify that the letter and complaint is valid being sent from the complainant, or customer. Just to check this policy, I filed a complaint against Precision Division and Robert Mannarino just as he had done against Doubleclickittofixit.com with my complaint being denied and rejected by the local BBB.org office in Florida. The letter delivered to me apparently never went this complaint checking and validation in Chattanooga.

Back to the complaint, and I use that term loosely, sent from Robert Mannarino from his 3905 Hastings Court, Unit 102, Palm Harbor, Florida address. Below are both the scanned original letters delivered from the Greater Chattanooga Better Business Bureau and the typed texted so one can read it easily.

This is the complaint section from Robert Mannarino’s letter:

Over the course of the last year, James Howell, owner of Doubleclickittofixit.com – has used my company information – including my domain name, company phone numbers, ebay information and screenshots – all without permission. He stole documents from my company and published them online. He has written several false and defamatory statements which served no legitimate purpose other than to harass, annoy and steal customers. I have repeatedly warned James to cease and decist his unlawful activities, and his belligerence is evident in his email responses.
By responding to this complaint, James Howell, owner of DoubleClickittoFixit.com agrees that any and all legal action from this matter shall be governed exclusively in and only in the State of Pennsylvania in the County of Northcumberland, and he further agrees to pay any reasonable attorneys fees and court cost that I, Robert Mannarino, the owner of PrecisionDivision.com may incur if I decide it is necessary to file suit against James. Any and all evidence – including but not limited to customer testimony, screenshots, emails, call logs and ISP logs will be used against James in court if I must file suit. However, if James complies with all of my requests, then I will re-consider seeking legal action. However, at this time, all of my options are currently on the table.

I just want to take a minute to say that if my job was to verify complaints from customers to businesses I could easily read that and find that none of those two paragraphs had anything to do with improving customer relations with the Better Business Bureau being the intermediary and arbitrator. I find that this section honestly needs no answer. No commentary. No complaints about the complaint. The paragraphs are just what they are.

Now for Robert Mannarino’s request of my company is as follows:

1) James must immediately remove any and all references to Precision Division, ibuiltonline, Robert Mannarino, 727 831 4369, contact@precisiondivision.com – from his site.2)James must immediately remove the stolen document that he posted on his site – and tell me (and I must be able to verify it) – who provided him with this document, or if he obtained it under false pretenses.3)James must re-imburse Precision Division for his use of company information in backpage and other online ads – an illegal activity known as cybersquatting in the amount of: $10,000 – payable within 30days.Cybersquatting is the unlawful use of a successful company’s information to obtain a profit. If this matter is not satisfactorily resolved, I will be forced to also inquire about pursuing criminal charges against James for cybersquatting.

With this section I will say one thing, epic fail. I will say this is both an epic fail by both the Greater Chattanooga Better Business Bureau and Robert Mannarino of Precision Division. I spent 4 days, and countless hours calling the Greater Chattanooga Better Business Bureau to fix their mistake only to hear that the Better Business Bureau passes paperwork based on the fact that the person sending the complaint may be your customer. I have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau due to the Better Business Bureau, the link to my rating, which may not be a genuine rating by actual customers, is posted all over the internet stating how poor of a business I supposedly have by Robert Mannarino, and I have a recording from the Better Business Bureau phone call after days and days of trying to get someone to answer my Second Notice letter which I should have never have gotten a first letter.

As it was stated to me, I, the Better Business Bureau, do not know they, being the complainants, are not who they say they are.

All of this has been done to my company while Robert Mannarino and Precision Division have been allowed to go from an F rating to a No rating with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB.org review of Robert Mannarino and Precision Division states that he is being allowed to answer questions and complaints previously closed unanswered while my request to answer my supposed complaints closed before or after the April the 27th have been denied.

In conclusion, I find that Precision Division, Robert Mannarino, and the Better Business Bureau have answers to give in regards to this letter delivered. You cannot honestly answer a complaint as a business and be bound to a legal document by submitting an answer. I find in my opinion that the Better Business Bureau is complicate in Robert Mannarino’s review of my company and his complaint sent to me. I feel this letter may not be the only letter I have received from the Better Business Bureau giving me an F rating, so I see a biased and flawed system handled by the Better Business Bureau that hands out ratings based on what? You be the judge of both Robert Mannarino of 3905 Hastings Court, Unit 102, Palm Harbor, Florida and the Better Business Bureau whom themselves cannot find anyone to answer a phone and a business request for four days and when they do answer your phone call you hear this, “I do not know they are not who they say they are.”

UPDATE: Hey Rob of Advanced Computer Repair/Precision Division, let the world know who you are when you speak!

In the past I had written a blog titled, Hey Rob of Advanced Computer Repair/Precision Division, let the world know who you are when you speak!, outlining an email I received from contact@precisiondivision.com along with some of his postings on eBay for laptop repair. I also received this response posted on the internet on one of my forums and it peaked my interest.

Plain texts reads as follows:

Ok Howell. Let everybody know who you really are. You work out of a shed. Your competitors – many of whom I have spoke with – had nothing good to say about you.

One said you have the mentality of a 10 year old.

The other said you seem to be missing a few screws.

I say your an incompetent, dishonest lowlife who feels the need to slander other businesses to make yourself look better.

You have illegally copied content from my website. You have only made an idiot of yourself.

James Howell – everybody – doesn’t even know what voltage a laptop fan runs at. You’re gonna trust him with your laptop?

His Ebay account has had disciplinary action taken against it for abuse.

Listen, moron, do yourself a favor and mind your own business.

—————

Do you really want to do business with someone like James Howell who has nothing good to say, whatsoever?

Precision Division has professionally mentioned factual reasons why you should use their services.

Howell just trolled to promote his own slanderous page. “Notice I found it very enlightening”. That’s to imply that he didn’t write it. Look at his site – and his name is right on it. This proves that he’s a lying lowlife.

After I had placed that blog up on my website I started to receive emails and phone calls from everyday people who used Precision Division’s services to fix their laptops. Emails like the one displayed below asking me to help them.

After I received those emails and phone calls, yes and I received a lot of phone calls, from people local to Florida and all over the country that have shipped their laptops to them. Companies that have used his services to turn a profit and offer a service that they can market to their clients’ local to their shops. Then I see this posted on my Google Places listing for my new shop location.

The plain text reads as:

If you have had a bad experience here, then there is a shop in Fl who will give you 50% off your repair if you have a receipt from doubleclickittofix showing that your laptop was previously repaired by them. Doubleclickittofixit tried to slander us online in a poorly written backpage post – but it backfired on them big time. We ended up acquiring many of their old customers – because we’re good. We’re skilled. We’re smart. Motherboard repair is best left to professionals who know what they’re doing. To get your laptop fixed the RIGHT way, go to PrecisionDivision (dot) com Be sure to mention that you have had your laptop previously repaired by Doubleclickittofixit, show a receipt, and you’ll get 50% off your repair. Do it right, or don’t bother. Visit PrecisionDivision dot com to learn more

Then I started seeing a lot of these posting for every one of my ads in my local little city in Northwest Georgia called Ringgold.

Plain text reads as:

http://www.bbb.org/chattanooga/business -reviews/computers-service-and-repair/doubleclickittofixit-in-tunnel-hill-ga-40062691

Then I started asking myself as I do 50 to 100 laptop, desktop, iMac, Macbook Pro, Xbox, PS3, PSP, and everything else I can rework on a weekly basis systems I should see a few individuals who call the BBB regarding service because everyone knows that mistakes are made, differences are met, and agreements are bent by some to make arraignments. I also understand that no one runs to the BBB to tell them that a company did a job that they were paid for correctly and do that said job correctly repeatedly within a week or even for those 4 to 5 years solid. Then I noticed a Twitter posting listing the same link:

Accepting this fact and what I see I plainly noticed that I started to see a pattern that was briefly discussed in the previous posting. What I noticed and see is that Precision Division squelches their users with legally binding terminology and intimidation.

The plain outline in the paperwork says this:

In todays world, it only takes a few moments to harm someones reputation by writing an angry review online. Online complaints do little to resolve issues. We want to help you as much as you want us to help you, but we will not tolerate online criticism. You agree not to attack, publicly criticize, defame or slander Precision Division, its owners, staff or associates publicly on the internet, in forums, in blogs or on social networking sites at any time prior to, during or subsequent to your repair, repair attempt or diagnostic. If you do so or if you enlist a third party to do so on your behalf, then Precision Division will take legal action, regardless of whether or not we can substantiate lost profits. You agree not to post any online reviews that might cast Precision Division in a badeven if your complaint is valid. If you have a complaint, then work with us and together we will find a resolution. In case of breach of this provision, youunderstand that Precision Division shall file a civil suit for the amount of fourteen thousand dollars ($14000) or for the amount of verifiable damages – whichever is greater plus reasonable attorneys fees, court costs and filing fees. You agree that we do not need to prove actual malice. You agree that we do not need toprove that your statements are false, and that we do not need to show any substantial harm to bring such a suit. You agree not to knowingly cause or attempt tocause harm to Precision Divisions reputation or operations. You agree not to publicly engage in reputational harm against Precision Division. There areother, better ways to resolve disputes.

They link you to signing an agreement that states plainly that if you have a negative experience, if you have a negative treatment, if you have a negative thought, you will not, cannot, and should not talk about your experience pertaining to Precision Division or it will cost you $14,000 to do so and they do sue regularly. As a business, as a service business, as a customer and client, and as a person I agree with one simple fact and that fact is that you as a client have one right and that is the right to speak about your experience; By taking one person’s rights from them knowingly or unknowingly you have also helped those that may take your own rights from yourself. No one can have all the glory without the guts. You have to take the poor writings and negative feedback and improve your process and your skill to minimize the failures. You cannot try to tie your potential clients up with a pen and then falsify your records of great service hoping no one reports otherwise. With a simple Google search you can see clients of mine that have stated their issues and now you can see issues with Precision Division’s service also.

When a company places publically terminology that states that they reserve the right by you signing a work order to send your system back in pieces risking damaging your system in transit and your only recourse is with the shipping company then I start thinking.

Plain text reads as follows:

We reserve the right to return your system disassembled. The logic behind this is that it needs to come apart to be repaired anyway.

I see my operation cannot in good faith send a system back in pieces knowing that it will in the end become damaged no matter how you package it. We value our customers and respect the fact that they choose us over all the other companies that may be skilled to do just what they paid us for which is fix their system. We do not tell our customers that if you disassembled your laptop and did not tell us that we will prosecute you for fraud like Precision Division.

Plain text reads as follows:

If you have disassembled your laptop and failed to disclose that to us, we will be able to verify this with video, photos and technician reports. You must disclose any and all damage – both internal and internal, prior to sending your laptop to us. We prosecute fraud.

We do not place tricky wording in our ads and paperwork to stumble our clients by stating All sales are final.

In the business world, all sales are final is exactly what it means. If you purchase a car that is used and it says all sales are final then you have no warranty on the dotted line. Precision Division advertises a 120 day warranty that in the end is only a gift if they feel you deserve it. The warranty is limited, a courtesy, and really does not exist if they feel it does not need to be given.

Posted below are a few results from a simple Google response about Precision Division, ibuiltonline, www.precisiondivision.com, precision florida:

Plain text reads as follows:

I have had no choice but to file a small claims suit to try to get my property back.
DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

And the response is:

That last review was filed by a woman who had tried to defraud Precision Division. She sent a laptop in – and authorized the repair both in email and in writing. If anyone would like to see this signed contract, just ask – I’ll gladly show it to you. I also have a video of the laptop up and running. If you want to see it just ask.

Her laptop was successfully repaired. When I notified her of the completion of the repair, she responded “I sold the laptop, so you’ll have to go to the new owner for payment”

Who sells a laptop while it’s with a shop for repair?

Anyway, I contacted the “new owner” who said that as the new owner, he did not authorize the repair. He went on to say that he wasn’t paying anything and if I didn’t give the laptop back to him, he would call every news station and write bad reviews all over the internet.

I reminded him that he was not my customer, and after those threats, I would never do business with him. The weirdo proceeded to stalk me at my home and harass me via email.

Both of these individuals then filed complaints with the department of consumer protection. After providing them with a video showing the laptop up and running and the signed work order, they quickly dismissed the case. A few days later the weirdo stalker filed the same complaint – which was immediately dismissed.

Her contract clearly states that if the laptop owner does not pay for the repair within 60 days of us notifying them of the completion of the repair, then the laptop shall become the property of Precision Division and shall be discarded or sold. 60 days came and went, and yet we gave her another 60 days, and another. She continued to remain uncooperative – and she never paid anything. She’s an adult. The contract was written in plain English. I fulfilled my end of the contract, but she did not fulfill hers.

Keep in mind – we only invoiced her the original amount : $100 plus shipping. We didn’t plan to charge her a dime over that. Yet, she thought that she could terrorize us into providing her with a free repair by filing false and defamatory complaints.

We have emails from her specifically saying “So when do I pay you the $100 plus shipping”. How could she say she never authorized the repair when I have so much tangible evidence to prove otherwise? I have never seen a more dishonest person in my life. Even when caught in an outright lie, she still denies everything. Amazing.

Needless to say, I have hired an attorney who is currently helping me prepare a case against these two. If they had a legitimate complaint, I would be happy to handle it.

And get this:

A week or so ago, the woman files a BBB complaint claiming (take a guess) – that I did unauthorized repairs.

Two days later, the stalker files the same complaint – for the same laptop! These people are out of their minds.

If any of you own computer repair shops and happen to come across this review, mention it to me and I’ll give you your first repair free. I’ll just offset my losses in the upcoming defamation suit. Slandering a business – if the statements are false – and I can prove that these are – is like vandalism. Yelp condones such vandalism. Yelp is a company that thrives on negative attention.

Yelp has actually removed my response to this false complaint before. They have also removed the other legitimate reviews from my other customers – including one man who is disabled. I will continue to re-post this response every time Yelp removes it, and file a BBB complaint each time they do so. Eventually, they’ll get the message.

By the way, they gave themselves another 5 star rating for a rebuttal.

Plain text reads as follows:

Given a “D” grade with the Better Business Bureau and is not accredited. Check for yourself on the BBB Website. DO NOT conduct business with this company. Major SCAM. READ the Fine Print regarding WARRANTY. Warranty is designed to protect Precsion Divion and leave the consumer powerless. Owner will find every way to use the warranty to keep your computer hostage for many months and without any communication. PROCEED WITH CAUTION. Find a repair shop that works in the daytime because this vampire company only operates in darkness. I have the bite marks from my wallet to prove it.

And even better is the response posted later on April the 17th:

Precision Division – 04/17/11
This review was filed by Jason Sabado of Indian Harbour Beach, FL. He received his laptop back in working condition. Video footage confirms this. He signed for it and he is currently using the laptop for work. If anyone would like to see this video footage, just ask. I will be happy to show it to anyone who is interested. I worked very hard to repair Jason’s laptop, and he obviously has some serious psychological problems. He is of very poor character and he is very dishonest. I have no problem addressing legitimate concerns. But I did everything I was supposed to do for Jason. I even did extra work without getting paid for it.

After reading from the Google searches I found that he even rates himself and writes his own reviews about his own company on SuperYellowPages.com

I do not write my own reviews or rate my own public listings in attempts to sway potential clients to think differently of my company while submitting legally binding documents forbidding you from talking about your experience. Precision Division appears in my opinion and research to do just that while posting my BBB link publicly.

Just remember in the end, if you send me your laptop you can come ask me a question, you can visit it, and you can pay me in my shop. At Precision Division, you will be arrested and that is how they treat their clients in the end. You want arrested, send them your laptop.

Plain text reads as follows:

Under NO circumstances shall any customer go to the address that we disclose at the end of the listing. Doing so shall be considered trespassing. Violators WILL be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Give it up now and quit. It is over and done with as of yesterday.

The address I gave you is where he was found. Inside that store. After your number was called, a message was left, you called back from Google Talk, then the office was visited Rob was asked for and the guy said his name was Phil. So now you tell me after a flight from GA to FL who is Phil?

I am getting to the bottom of your issues and I will get this settled one day getting those ads off.

Your killing my ads, you killed my eBay account I believe, and I will find out an answer to your posting my BBB link and my Google Places destruction for the second ad soon enough.

Fair? You obtained a copy of my contract under false pretenses by posing as a customer. Your posts served no legitimate purpose but to damage my business. I can prove that most of your statements are false. You even used words that I can hang you in court with – such as “scam”. I have been building evidence against you for a while. I can easily win a defamation suit againt you.

You know what you posted. You used my company name without permission to draw attention to your own ads. You slandered my company on two occasions on your site. I can prove that you
posted it, if you must know – very easily. A subpoena sent to the webhosting company for the IP and then a subpoena to your internet provider. That proves that you are the poster. Subpoenas are easy enough for me to obtain.

So… If you want to keep your defamatory posts up, go right ahead. If you want to continue using my company information in your ads – go right ahead. But I can assure you – doing so is going
to come at a price. And that price is going to be your livelihood. Once I seek my teeth into you, it’s over. If you’re smart, you’ll just do what I say.

It’s a simple resolution. Remove the two posts on your site. Remove all references to my company. Then, I’ll take down the page. You picked the wrong person to fuck with I can assure you.

Remove any references to:

Precision Division
Precision Division.com
ibuiltonline
advanced computer repair
Precision Division.com

and level x computer

From your website, from Craigslist, Backpage or anywhere else.

Here’s one to start you off with:

Too often I find these days I am repairing laptops that have already been serviced with a BGA rework by eBay repair service sellers like ibuiltonline of Advanced Computer Repair, compu-genie of Compu Genie Inc., everisepc of Everise Inc., LEVEL X Computer Repair, and floridamotherboardspecialist of Florida Motherboard Repair Specialist who have not performed the repair correctly.

This one is located at  http://www.clubdoconline.com/news/press-release/doubleclickittofixit-com-circuit-level-laptop-motherboard-reflow-repair-service-in-us-and-the-world/

You better get cracking. Search engines are crawling doubleclickittofixit.wordpress.com as we speak.

It is killing my business as you probably already know. I just need the links to stop being posted and the review to be taken down so I can live.

Hey Rob of Advanced Computer Repair/Precision Division, let the world know who you are when you speak!

I receive plenty of emails in a week. Just today alone I have received 120 emails alone, but the email I received on Friday takes the cake. I never get surprised often and I have to say this one surprised me. I will also say my inspiration for this post came from dogbert’s blog. Dogbert’s “Schmuck of the Week” postings get me every time, and I hope this blog does the inspiration justice.

Here is a copy of the email in screenshot format:

Here is a copy of the email posted in plain text:

From: contact@precisiondivision.com

We are giving you 24 hours to provide us with proof that our services are “inferior” – since you decided to specify this in your ad before we turn this over to our attorney for review for a possible defamation case.

When we describe another company’s service as inferior, we can back it up – with pictures, specific details. Some of the other shops you mentioned – yes – we have seen inferior work performed by them.

However, the fact that you don’t even know our company name – casts doubt and only proves your ignorance. Take our name out of your ad, or we will consider legal alternatives. At the very least – we will retaliate by mentioning your name in our ads. We have not done so, and have respected that border – and we expect you to do the same.

http://losangeles.backpage.com/ComputerServices/nationwide-service-to-get-your-motherboard-fixed-for-75-or-get-your-lcd-changed-for-50/11187676

This person has contacted you anonymously through losangeles.backpage.com. If you believe their email is a scam, spam, or inappropriate, please forward this email to abuse@backpage.com.

After I read this email, I find some things requested, some things stated, and other things demanded. Well, let us address them as only Doubleclickittofixit.com can. Better yet, let me address what I do know. I do know his name is Rob, his company is called Advanced Computer Repair, his wording of his ads seem less than desirable, and he threatens competition.

Now I will state my opinion. When you look at his website, http://computersfixedfast.webs.com/, I say the website leaves a lot to be desired. I think that the only reason his business is succeeding is because of the eBay ads. Which if anyone cares to know, payments accepted and items purchased on eBay and through Paypal that are intangible become unprotected for buyers, and are in complete violation of both services/sites guidelines of acceptable usage.

Second, if a business threatens its competition, blatantly places eBay ads threatening users, and continues to use those policies as acceptable business practice then potential future clients need to be cautious.

Example of “acceptable” practice:

Example of “acceptable” practice in plain text:

Threatening me with bad feedback is not going to work. In fact, leaving bad feedback voids your warranty.
If you want to run to Ebay, next time you have a problem I’m going to tell you to ask Ebay for help.

If your board is bad, it’s bad – period. I’m here to deal with mature people who want to see if their laptops
can be fixed before going out and buying another one. Motherboard repair is risky, no matter who does it.
I won’t respond to temper tantrums.

That is straight from his eBay listing here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230415488961

I will say in my opinion, that ad spells everything out, but also leans upon feedback manipulation which leads to a dishonest company which leads to Rob hiding his “inferior” service. The clients I have dealt with are listed, their systems are posted REPAIRED publicly, and are freely available for everyone to see what we as a company can perform.

In short, if you need a company that is straight forward and honest, then feel free to continue with our service. If you want someone who is worried about their bottom line and does not answer their phone, continue ahead with ibuiltonline. By the way, their not answering their phone is documented also for you Rob.
